The Role

As a Residential Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales and project teams by preparing accurate quotations and ensuring customer requirements are translated into practical and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities Include

Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, building specifications, and project documentationCompleting take-offs and preparing accurate, detailed quotationsAssessing project requirements and selecting appropriate products and solutionsPreparing quotes and orders using internal estimating systemsLiaising with customers, builders, contractors, architects, and internal stakeholdersSupporting phone-based sales activities and assisting with customer enquiriesFollowing up quotations and maintaining strong customer relationshipsWorking collaboratively with production, sales, and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes

About You

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

A minimum of 2 years' experience in an Estimator roleIndustry experience within the aluminium, glazing, construction,



or related manufacturing sectorsThe ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and building specificationsExperience preparing accurate take-offs and detailed quotationsStrong numerical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with measurements, calculations, and costingExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence engaging with customers and stakeholders via phone and emailSound computer skills and the ability to work across multiple systemsThe ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlinesExperience using V6 estimating will be highly regarded
