We're seeking experienced
Registered Midwives
(Dual Registered preferred but not essential) to join the maternity team at Port Lincoln Hospital for a rewarding 6-week agency contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to expand your clinical experience while enjoying one of South Australia's most spectacular coastal locations. You'll work across the full scope of midwifery practice in a supportive regional hospital, providing exceptional care to women and their families.
About the Role
As a Registered Midwife, you will:
Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
Work across the full scope of midwifery practice
Deliver protected, evidence-based maternity care
Collaborate with GP obstetricians, visiting specialists and multidisciplinary teams
Support women and families throughout their maternity journey
Maternity Unit
Approximately ******* births annually
Two birth suites
Four-room, eight-bed postnatal ward
Supported staffing model with two midwives per shift
Well-supported regional maternity service
