Pacific Sleep is looking for a Sleep and CPAP Clinician
Role available at our Adamstown, Newcastle location. Part-time preferred, full-time applicants will be considered.

The role
Due to growth in awareness of the importance of sleep health, a role is now available for an energetic, efficient and professional individual to join our team as a Pacific Sleep Clinician at our Adamstown, Newcastle clinic.
The role of a Sleep and CPAP Clinician is to provide care to clients undertaking sleep studies, and to support clients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea through CPAP therapy and other treatment pathways. Pacific Sleep clinicians provide patient education, CPAP setup, follow-up care, treatment support, and ongoing clinical assistance throughout each client's sleep health journey.
Clinicians are also responsible for preparing clinical reports for referring doctors and specialists, managing sleep study equipment and data, maintaining patient files, supporting clinic workflows, and helping ensure a professional and efficient service is consistently provided to our clients.
This is a clinic-based role at our
Adamstown, Newcastle
location for
3 days per week
(9am-5pm)
permanent part-time
(part-time preferred,
full time applicants will be considered
). Salary will be commensurate with experience.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years demonstrated ability in a clinical role within a busy, customer-focused healthcare environment.
Candidates must have clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience with CPAP therapy, sleep studies, respiratory care, nursing, or a related healthcare field will be highly regarded.
Excellent knowledge of CPAP equipment, masks, and patient therapy support.
Sound knowledge of sleep diagnostic equipment, or the ability to learn quickly.
Ability to set up patients on CPAP trials and manage follow-up appointments.
Ability to support patients requiring CPAP adjustments, troubleshooting, or ongoing care.
Experience preparing clinical notes, reports, and documentation for doctors or referring specialists.
Strong attention to detail in patient care, reporting, documentation, billing, stock control, and equipment management.
Excellent computer literacy, including experience with medical software, Microsoft Word, Excel, email programs, and patient management systems.
Ability to multi-task and navigate between multiple systems and applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
A "people-person", with a compassionate, flexible and client-focused approach.
A genuine team-player, who is keen to do their part in making the workplace feel happy, safe, friendly and collaborative.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Reliable, professional,
and comfortable supporting administrative and front desk workflows when required.
Relevant healthcare qualification, such as nursing, respiratory therapy, or an equivalent healthcare diploma or degree.
Permanent right to work in Australia, such as Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa.
Holds, or has the ability to obtain, a National Police Clearance Certificate, NDIS Worker Clearance, NDIS Orientation Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and ANZSSA membership.
