Casual Sales Assistant
. This is a

. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service whilst helping customers find the right products for their needs. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming shopping environment and driving sales through knowledgeable product recommendations and genuine customer engagement.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with product selection across our range of rubber and related products
Providing accurate product information and expert advice to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
Processing transactions efficiently and accurately at the point of sale
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked retail setting
Handling customer enquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and courtesy
Supporting stock management activities, including receiving, unpacking and displaying merchandise
Promoting special offers, new products and loyalty programmes to customers
Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
What we're looking for
Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
A friendly, approachable demeanour and genuine passion for helping customers
Reliability and the ability to work flexibly to accommodate casual shift patterns
Basic numeracy skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems
Physical ability to lift, carry and stack merchandise safely
Willingness to learn about products and develop product knowledge
A team player mentality with a positive attitude towards workplace collaboration
