About The Role
Applications are invited from suitably experienced Occupational Therapists for this exciting position available at Grampians Health, Ballarat. The successful applicant will work in the acute hospital setting, managing a varied and challenging clinical caseload that may include neurological, medical, surgical, oncology and trauma patients. The successful applicant will also have skills in providing supervision and mentoring to both students and Occupational Therapists, and demonstrated positive and collaborative teamwork qualities. Effective communication and the ability to engage key stakeholders is essential. Specialist skills in acute neurological assessment and intervention are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across a range of clinical settings.Manage a varied caseload, providing tailored interventions for patients with diverse needs.Supervise and mentor students and fellow Occupational Therapists.Demonstrate positive and cooperative teamwork skills.Communicate effectively and engage with key stakeholders.
