We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Trainer – Individual Support
to join a dedicated team located in Cairns City, delivering high-quality education and training programs that create meaningful employment outcomes within the community.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with diverse learners, building strong community relationships, and delivering engaging, practical training that changes lives.
About the Role
As a Trainer – Individual Support, you will be responsible for delivering accredited training and assessment programs while ensuring compliance with national training standards and the RTO framework. You'll work closely with students, employers and community stakeholders to provide flexible, engaging learning experiences that support successful course completion and employment outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to program development, continuous improvement initiatives, and the ongoing success of learners within the aged care and disability sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging accredited training and assessment programs.
Support learners throughout their educational journey.
Adapt training delivery to meet individual learning needs.
Build robust relationships with employers, community organisations and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with RTO and VET requirements.
Participate in validation,



moderation and continuous improvement activities.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of training resources and programs.
About You
You are an engaging trainer who enjoys helping people succeed. You are organised, adaptable and passionate about quality education, with the ability to connect with learners from a wide range of backgrounds.
To be successful, you will have:
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or Diploma or higher in Adult Education).
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability.
Experience delivering training and assessment within the Individual Support sector.
Current industry experience in aged care and/or disability support.
Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding learner outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements
Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
Current Right to Work in Australia.
Ability to meet vaccination requirements where applicable.
