Geelong Smile Studio is looking for two motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistants to join our modern and growing practice.
We currently have the equivalent of two full-time positions available and would ideally love to welcome two full-time team members. However, we are also open to part-time applicants or a job-share arrangement for the right people.
We welcome applications from experienced Dental Assistants, as well as people who are new to dentistry and looking for a rewarding career change. Previous dental experience is not essential, as we are happy to provide training to the right candidates.
What matters most to us is finding mature, dependable and hardworking people who have the right attitude, show initiative and genuinely want to contribute to the team.

Geelong Smile Studio is proudly part of National Dental Care, one of Australia's largest dental service providers, with a nationwide network of modern dental practices.
Our practice uses the latest digital technologies, including digital scanners, CBCT and CEREC. As part of the National Dental Care network, our team has access to ongoing training, career development and support from experienced dental professionals across Australia.
About the Role
As a Dental Assistant at Geelong Smile Studio, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide excellent patient care and support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
Chairside assisting across a wide range of dental procedures
Preparing and turning over treatment rooms
Instrument sterilisation and maintaining high infection-control standards
Ensuring surgeries, sterilisation areas and the wider practice remain exceptionally clean, organised and well presented
Assisting with stock control and maintaining clinical supplies
Creating a welcoming,



positive and professional experience for every patient
Supporting the wider team wherever required
Cleaning is a significant part of dental assisting, so you must be comfortable taking responsibility for maintaining a consistently clean and organised practice.
About You

Communicate confidently and respectfully with patients and colleagues
Are highly organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
Take pride in keeping their workspace and the wider practice clean
Show initiative and do not need to be continually prompted

Are supportive team players who are willing to help wherever needed
Are eager to learn, develop and build a long-term career within the dental industry
Skills and Experience
Previous Dental Assistant experience is highly regarded but
not essential
We welcome experienced applicants and those looking to move into the dental industry
Previous healthcare, reception, customer service or fast-paced workplace experience would be advantageous
Experience using Dental4Windows is desirable but not essential
Training and ongoing support will be provided to the right candidates
