We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented
Theatre Bookings Administration
Officer
to join our dynamic team. In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will play a critical role in accurately managing theatre lists, ensuring data integrity, and supporting efficient surgical scheduling processes.

About the Role
This position offers a diverse role and duties including:
Deliver accurate and timely administrative support in line with organisational policies and standards
Coordinate and manage elective and emergency theatre bookings via phone and email
Maintain and update patient and theatre scheduling information in the patient management system
Prepare and finalise daily theatre lists, ensuring accuracy of all details and deadlines
Support daily operations by preparing theatre huddle documentation
Maintain specialist schedules and leave records for reporting and planning
Communicate scheduling issues and escalate concerns to relevant managers
Liaise with clinical teams,



specialists, and administration to coordinate bookings and changes
Monitor schedule changes and ensure all updates are clearly documented and communicated

We are seeking individual who possesses the following:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in hospital administration roles, desirable
High attention to detail with strong data accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality
Proficient in-patient management and scheduling systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Effective communication skills to liaise with clinical staff and stakeholders
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
Adaptable and resilient when managing changing priorities
Dedicated to delivering high-quality administrative support and continuous improvement
