Combined Weld is seeking an experienced
Steel Fabrication Supervisor
to oversee our workshop operations for a
2–3 month project
in Welshpool.
This is a hands-on supervisory role leading a team of boilermakers, welders and trade assistants while ensuring fabrication work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day workshop operations.
Coordinate and lead boilermakers, welders and trade assistants.
Allocate work to meet production schedules.
Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Monitor quality and ensure work complies with Australian Standards.
Maintain a strong safety culture and workshop housekeeping.
Liaise with workshop management to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
Requirements
Australian-recognised Trade Certificate AS****
or above
Minimum 1 year of workshop supervisory or leading hand experience.
Robust structural steel fabrication knowledge.
Ability to read fabrication drawings.
Current White Card and Driver's Licence.
Full Australian working rights.
