ROLE – Mechanical Engineer – Water & Wastewater

SALARY - $110,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Adelaide, SA

My client provides specialist engineering solutions across the Water and Wastewater sector, delivering creative treatment systems and engineered solutions for industrial and infrastructure projects.

They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Adelaide. This role would suit an engineer with experience in water treatment, wastewater, process systems, packaged plant equipment, piping systems, or similar industrial engineering environments.

The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:At least 2 years of experience in a Mechanical, Civil, or Design, Engineering roleExperience working on Water, Wastewater, Industrial Process, Utilities, or similar engineering projectsExperience delivering water treatment, wastewater treatment, utilities, pipelines, pumping stations, treatment plants, process systems or similar infrastructure projectsAble to read and interpret P&IDs; and engineering drawingsIdeally have experience using 3D CAD softwareExperience working through project lifecycles, from design through to construction,



commissioning or handoverDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering disciplineStrong project coordination, technical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

The Mechanical Engineer role will involve:Producing concept designs, detailed engineering drawings, and 3D modelsAssisting with the design, specification and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment systemsWorking collaboratively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teamsProviding technical engineering support across design, procurement, construction and commissioningPreparing and reviewing engineering documentation, reports and technical informationCoordinating project activities to ensure programmes, budgets and quality requirements are achievedSupporting assembly, testing, and commissioning activities where requiredWorking within a collaborative, growing engineering team on a variety of projects
