Opposite Lock Toowoomba has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Salesperson to join the Team. If you are an adventure driven person with enthusiasm for four wheel driving, we'd love to meet you!
We are looking for a energetic Salesperson with a passion for all things adventure, outdoors and four-wheel-driving. As the principal contact between Opposite Lock and our customers, this role would suit someone with exceptional customer service skills and a strong background in sales. Experience in 4WD aftermarket and accessory sales would be a benefit, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities, tasks & duties include:
First point of contact, meeting and greeting Customers, and attending to their enquiries including any concerns.
Taking internet and phone enquiries.
Consulting catalogues and Identifying parts and accessories.
Selling the accessories required and arranging the fitment of accessories
Creating Repair Orders detailing accessory fitment work required through the Opposite Lock Workshop.
Keeping Customers up to date with progress of work.
Estimating Cost and time needed to complete jobs.
Liaising with workshop controller to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame.
Final costing, closing and processing payment of accessory fitments.
Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support
Receiving and filling orders for accessories.
Organising dispatch.
Carrying out storage and stock control procedures, including stock-take.
Assist with the secure storage of vehicles and keys, and the securing of the Opposite Lock store at day end.
Maintain a safe working environment,
by ensuring all staff comply with Workplace Health & Safety guidelines.
Skills and experience
Experience in the Aftermarket Accessories supply and fitment industry or equivalent Retail experience combined with an interest in 4WD (desired - training will be provided for the right applicant)
Technical accessories knowledge in the automotive field.
Highly developed customer service skills
Highly organised with proven time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced computer skills and ability to adapt to new programs and systems
Courteous and professional manner with both staff and customers
Commitment to Opposite Lock's goals and operational standards.
Current valid Qld drivers licence
