Tilt Tray
Truck Driver
to join our transport team. This is a
full-time position
based in
St Marys, SA ****
. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our tilt tray vehicles whilst transporting goods across various routes locally. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring timely and secure delivery of freight to our clients. You will be the face of Blue Collar Transport, representing our commitment to professionalism and reliability in the road transport industry.
Key responsibilities
Operate tilt tray trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with all road transport regulations and company policies
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition
Load and unload equipment using the tilt tray mechanism, ensuring freight is secured properly and safely
Navigate various routes and road conditions, maintaining accurate delivery schedules
Maintain detailed logbooks and delivery documentation as required by law and company procedures
Communicate professionally with clients, dispatch and other team members regarding deliveries and any issues
Adhere to all traffic laws, weight restrictions and safety regulations whilst operating the vehicle
Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and conduct yourself with integrity at all times
What we're looking for
Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) license
Proven experience operating tilt tray vehicles in a commercial transport environment
Knowledge loading and unloading plant equipment and EWPs (training will be given)
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, weight and load restraint requirements




Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety and zero tolerance for traffic violations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks associated with loading and unloading (medical fitness test will be needed before commencement)
Reliability and punctuality with a flexible approach to working hours when required
