Work, Health and Safety Trainee -
What you'll do -
Whilst studying a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety working with Total Fire over 24 months, as part of this role, you'll gain hands-on experience while supporting the day-to-day coordination of training, safety and compliance activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and support the delivery of training programs.
Schedule medical assessments and training requirements, including Working at Heights (WAH).
Book inductions and submit induction documentation through client portals.
Develop and maintain medical management plans.
Assist with the coordination and monitoring of journey management plans.
Update and maintain internal training records and databases.
Support workers' compensation administration alongside the HSEQ Manager.
Maintain incident reporting spreadsheets and ensure records are up to date.
Conduct Drug and Alcohol (D&A;) testing and assist with administering the D&A; program.
Carry out duties that are within the limits of trainee skills, competence, and ability as required

Must-haves -
Current drivers licence (provisional or above), or close to obtaining.
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including audiometry, spirometry and drug and alcohol screening
