Fruit and Vegetable Shop Assistant
We currently have an opportunity for Casual/Part-time fruit and vegetable assistant at our Ashby store.
Our busy supermarket is open 7 days a week.
Applicants will need to be flexible with hours and days.
Weekend work required.
In this role you will be involved in the day-to-day activities of our store.
We seek candidates who have previous experience in retail/fruit and vegetable department.
Shifts available:
Wednesday -Saturday 16hrs or more per week.
This hands-on role will include:
Receiving, rotating, replenishing, and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store
Juggling multiple things at once, inspiring others and keeping calm under pressure.
Serving and building relationships with customers
You will be responsible for:
Ensuring stock levels are adequate,



rotated, and department presentation is well maintained
Ensuring security procedures are followed
Be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy and reliable
Have good communication skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Providing the highest standards of customer service Be willing to "go that extra mile" for our customers
