This is a fantastic opportunity for an Events Coordinator to join our team at the International Hotel Wagga.
As Events Coordinator you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of conferences, meetings, corporate functions and private events.
You will work closely with clients, the kitchen, food & beverage, housekeeping and other departments to ensure every event runs smoothly from enquiry through to completion.
Key responsibilities
Respond to event enquiries and prepare accurate quotes and proposals
Coordinate all event details including room setups, AV requirements, catering, timelines and logistics
Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate clearly with internal teams
Liaise with clients before, during and after events to ensure high satisfaction
Support on-the-day event delivery and problem-solve as needed
Maintain accurate records, contracts and post-event follow-up




Identify opportunities to upsell packages and additional services
Assist with other hotel duties as required
About you
Previous experience in events, functions, conference coordination or hospitality is highly regarded
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities under pressure
Skilled, friendly and client-focused approach
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required for events
RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain) preferred
