The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an A Class Electrician with experience in electrical maintenance to join our team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, this role's responsibilities includes working in a highly automated processing and packaging environment where fault finding skills complemented by your general maintenance experience will enable you to ensure our machinery achieves high levels of performance, with minimal downtime.
Offering the security of the food industry and a stimulating and challenging work environment, this is an excellent chance for a licensed electrician with experience in:
Manufacturing or production enviroments;
Installation, fabrication and maintenance of machinery and equipment;
Preventive and breakdown maintenance;
PLC fault finding (Omron,Seimens experience preferred);
Variable speed drive systems;
Robotics;
Automated packaging machinery for high volume FMCG.
A mixture of electrical and mechanical exposure.
This role offers great opportunity to grow beyond the role and challenge yourself to grow within a big organisation with many job prospects.
This position does not offer the option of Working from Home (WFH).
About you:
The successful applicant will have the drive to work well within a team environment and excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and must be prepared to be part of an 'on call' roster for after hours maintenance issues.
