About the Job
Rhapsody Grocer Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations and drive the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing inventory, leading staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the store's commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Optimize product mix and inventory levels for both local and imported convenience products to maintain availability and maximize profitability.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales and attract new customers.




• Ensure high standards of customer service by training staff and effectively handling customer inquiries and complaints.
• Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and ensure financial record accuracy.
• Implement and manage quality control measures for all products, particularly perishable items.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Plan and execute promotional events and in-store displays to highlight the store's product offerings and drive customer engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma-level qualification.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a retail management role.
• Robust organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage inventory, budgets, and sales performance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
