NORTHSIX is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established business with a small depot and customer facing retail site in Shepparton.
The Depot Supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of the site, working closely with the team and reporting to the Operations Manager.This suits someone with a background in transport, logistics or warehousing who can bring their skills to the business.
The roleSupervise the daily running of the depot, including stock levels, equipment checks and site presentationSupervise and support a small team including drivers, keeping deliveries secure, compliant and on scheduleManage the customer facing retail site,
handling day to day enquiries and keeping it well presentedCoordinate delivery scheduling in line with safety and compliance requirementsHandle general depot administration and reporting
About youPrevious experience supervising or managing a team of at least 4 to 5 people, including driversExperience in the Transport & Logistics industry would be an advantageAdministration experiencePractical, hands-on approach with confidence to run a depotStrong communication skills and a customer focused approachComfortable working in a small team
