Are you a skilledMetal Fabricator, Welder, Fitter, Mechanical Tradesperson or Service Technicianlooking for a role that gets you out of the workshop and into the field?
We are looking for motivated, hands-on technicians to join our growing team servicing and installing industrial entrance solutions across a diverse customer base.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As aService Technician, you'll be the face of ASSA ABLOY in the field, providing expert service, maintenance and installation support for industrial roller shutters and entrance solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planned and preventative maintenance of industrial doors and entrance systems
Diagnosis, repair and servicing of equipment in the field
Installation and commissioning of industrial roller shutters
Conducting safety inspections to national and local standards
Identifying and recommending repair and upgrade opportunities
Working closely with technical support and sales teams
Participating in a rotating after-hours on-call roster
Building strong customer relationships through professional service delivery

To be successful, you'll bring:
✅ Fabrication, sheet metal or welding experience
✅ Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
✅ Experience working with industrial machinery or equipment
✅ Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure
✅ A proactive and safety-focused mindset
✅ Confidence working independently in the field
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✅ Current Australian Driver's Licence
✅ Forklift and Scissor Lift licences (desirable)
✅ Comfortable working at heights
