Eco Resources is a leader in waste management, resource recovery and recycling.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Heavy Deisel Fitter to join our maintenance team and support operations across our Hope Valley and Waroona sites.
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse range of mobile and fixed plant equipment critical to our operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile and fixed plant equipment across our operations.
This is a diverse role suited to a hands-on Heavy Deisel Fitter who enjoys problem-solving, managing their own workload and working across multiple disciplines to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
· Fault finding and diagnostics across mobile and fixed plant equipment
· Repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
· Managing breakdowns and equipment reliability
· Planning and prioritising maintenance activities
· Ordering parts and managing maintenance stock
· Maintaining maintenance records and documentation
· Working closely with Operations to minimise downtime
· Welding, fabrication and general workshop duties where required
· Promoting safe work practices and workshop standards




· Travelling between Hope Valley and Waroona sites
About You
· Trade qualified HD Fitter or equivalent trade qualification
· Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
· Experience maintaining mobile and fixed plant equipment
· Current Australian Driver's Licence
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Ability to manage a dynamic and changing workload
· A practical, solutions-focused approach
· Willingness to assist across multiple maintenance disciplines where required
· Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic
· Commitment to safe work practices
