Langford Aboriginal Association Inc (LAA) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal community managed organisation based in Langford, Perth (Boorloo).
LAA delivers programs that raise awareness of health and well-being issues, promote social interaction, deliver community education, implement programs for youth at risk in a professional, confidential and holistic manner, as well as programs for Elders, women and men.

Job Prospect:
Position:Program Assistant
About the Role:This position will assist Program Coordinators with planning, implementation, delivery, monitoring and reporting of community-based programs or projects delivered by LAA.
The role will require you to assist with the management and delivery of community programs or projects that will involve face to face interaction with parents / carers, youth, students, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.
This position will report to the Manager - Programs and Community Services, or delegate.
The position is available for 4 days per week, with some flexibility and depending on the program,
as all positions are linked to program funding.
Depending on the skill of the successful applicant the position may be shared with 2 or more people or offered to one applicant.
Role and Responsibilities:
Support the Program Coordinator to develop and plan activities (including workshops and engaging guest speakers) and coordinate travel arrangements (where applicable).
Support the development of the program activity calendar for each term.
Communicate with partnering organisations to promote activities and calendar dates to encourage participation.
Provide feedback to the Program Coordinator and or Manager on any concerns or issues arising from program activities.
Develop and design communication methods for LAA programs.
Data entry into an online portal.
Meet regularly with Program Coordinator and or Manager on program progress.
You must hold a current and valid
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Clearance
Western Australian C class motor drivers licence
