Job Title - SCTY Information Technology Security Manager Job ID - ******* Security Clearance: NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 10 months The role closes on 4/08/2026 Location: ACT Experience / Skills Sought: Formal qualifications in Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Experience supporting system security accreditation, assessment and authorisation activities, including the maintenance of security documentation and risk assessments.
Experience providing cyber security advice and support to business, operational and technical stakeholders.
Ability to produce high-quality technical, governance and administrative documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills.
Robust verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organisational levels.
Ability to work independently under broad direction, managing competing priorities to achieve required outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and practical solutions to complex cyber security challenges.
Desirable: Forecast, plan and manage a range of human and physical resources.
Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, proactive and outcome focused.
Collaborative and relationship-driven approach to stakeholder engagement.
Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to exercise sound judgement in high-pressure or complex operational environments.

SFIA Skills Sought: The selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of controls and management strategies to maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability and relevant compliance of information systems with legislation, regulation and relevant standards.
SCTY Level 3: Communicates information security risks and issues to business managers and others.
Performs basic risk assessments for small information systems.
Contributes to vulnerability assessments.
Applies and maintains specific security controls as required by organisational policy and local risk assessments.
Investigates suspected attacks.
Responds to security breaches in line with security policy and records the incidents and action taken.
