About the Role This is a rare prospect for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a specialised correctional health service in metropolitan Melbourne.
Working as the sole OT, you'll manage a diverse adult caseload while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team.
This part-time locum offers flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of women within the correctional system.
Independently manage Occupational Therapy referrals and interventions Complete functional, cognitive and rehabilitation assessments Support patients with complex physical, cognitive and ageing-related needs Assist with care planning and transition back into the community Skills Experience AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist Grade 3 Occupational Therapist preferred Significant clinical experience working autonomously Experience in mental health, correctional, forensic, community, rehabilitation, aged care or complex adult caseloads highly regarded Strong clinical reasoning,
