The opportunity Reporting to the Group Executive, Insurance & Health Services, you'll lead the performance and growth of HBF's Health Services portfolio.
Supporting an experienced leadership team, you'll oversee a multisite operation spanning more than 25 locations, with a explicit focus on member experience, operational excellence and sustainable outcomes for HBF.
You'll identify new avenues for growth, assess future acquisition opportunities and translate HBF's broader enterprise strategy into clear priorities for Health Services.
You move confidently between strategy and execution, balancing commercial discipline with member outcomes and making decisions that position Health Services for continued success.
As a trusted advisor to the Group Executive, you'll work closely with Executive peers and build strong partnerships across HBF.
What you'll be accountable for
As General Manager, you'll provide the leadership that supports sustainable growth within Health Services.
You'll own portfolio performance and financial outcomes bringing commercial rigour to key decisions and ensure investment, operational priorities and major initiatives deliver measurable value.
From developing the Health Services roadmap to exploring expansion, acquisitions and new service offerings, you'll play a central role in shaping how we grow, contributing to HBF's broader ambitions.
You'll inspire and develop a capable leadership team, foster a culture of accountability and innovation, and create an workplace where people feel empowered to make decisions and continuously improve.




You'll also build trusted relationships across the Executive team, Managing Partners and external stakeholders, influencing through credibility, insight and collaboration.
As a senior leader within HBF, you'll champion strong governance, effective risk management and disciplined execution while ensuring Health Services remains aligned with HBF's purpose, strategy and values.
What you bring
In previous roles, you've held end to end accountability for business performance and understand what it takes to deliver long term growth while navigating competing priorities and making difficult decisions.
You combine commercial acumen with strategic thinking, bringing the confidence to set direction while staying adaptable as we evolve.
Just as importantly, you're an authentic and collaborative leader.
You build trust quickly, develop high performing teams and know how to bring people together around a shared vision.
You're comfortable influencing at Executive level, challenging constructively when required and building partnerships that create better business outcomes.
While experience within healthcare is advantageous, we're equally interested in leaders from other complex, customer-focused or regulated industries who have successfully grew businesses, led large multisite operations and can demonstrate sound judgement, strategic capability and values led leadership.
