About the Role
Location:Based in Old Beach at our beautiful child and family service; telehealth and outreach at a child's school is also an option
Hours:2–3 days per week, with versatile scheduling to suit your lifestyle
Type:Contractor or Casual position, maternity leave cover 6-12 month contract
Client Load:***** clients per week

What we need from you:




Relevant qualifications at a tertiary level for the position you are applying for
ABachelor or Master level qualificationin a relevant mental health or allied health field (e.g. Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Play Therapy).
Please note: A Diploma in Counselling may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experiencesupporting children and families in a therapeutic or educational context
Current membership or registrationwith your professional governing body
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) CardandNational Police Check
Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance(up to $10 million) for contractors
Anactive ABNfor invoicing purposes (if applying as a contractor)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work respectfully with families and stakeholders
Excellent documentation and report writing skillswith attention to clinical detail
A demonstratedcommitment to child safety, trauma informed practice, confidentiality, and ethical best practice
