We are looking for an up-and-coming people leader to coach, inspire and lead the teams!
About the Site
Located in the vibrant inner-city suburb of Leederville, just minutes from Perth's CBD, Loftus Recreation Centre is a thriving community hub dedicated to health, fitness and active lifestyles.
The centre features a modern 24/7 gym, four indoor multi-purpose courts, an outdoor AstroTurf pitch, group fitness studios and a wide range of social sporting competitions and community programs.
Serving people of all ages and abilities, Loftus Recreation Centre offers an inclusive, welcoming environment where our team is passionate about helping members and visitors connect, stay active and achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
The centre is a multi-facet leisure facility achieving an average of 700,000 visitations each year.
The Role
Therolesfocus onhelping todelivercentre-wideresults,while alsobeing responsible forleading and managing thecentre in the absence of theCentre Manager.This requires the position holder tolead byexample andhold a range of skills and capabilities across all centre functions includingcustomer experience, 360 products, learn to swim programs, health and safety compliance,and pooloperations.
This is a crucial role.
You will provide leadership and assist with driving leisure centre attendance and program participation, in a context of health, safety and compliance.




With key accountabilities:
Sales, Patron Experience, Risk Mitigation and Compliance
Prior experienceinindustry sectors such asHealth, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail orBusiness.
Proventeam leaderorpeople management and have an overall ability to lead, motivating a team and developing others.
If you have excellent customer service skills, sales, and the ability to achieve targets and key performance indicators.
Our leader demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and ability to accept feedback.
You will need to also have an understanding of WHS and risk including the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and NSW Health regulations.
Essential qualifications:
Current First Aid Certificate
Current CPR
Police check
Working with Children's Check
If you do not currently hold these qualifications, you must be willing to acquire them.
About the Perks
With an attractive salary to attract the right applicant you will be eligible to earn a bonus of up to 10% of your salary by achieving your key performance indicators.
As a staff member of Belgravia Leisure, you will also have access to centre's programs and facilities.
This is a
full-time opportunity
; the successful applicant will be available to work across a span of hours across the week, including weekend work.
