Guest Support Officer (GSO) – Safer Gambling
Guest Support Officers are the frontline of safer gambling guest support, delivering proactive and meaningful interactions across the gaming floor.
As a Guest Support Officer, you will play a key role in promoting safer gambling practices by engaging directly with guests, conducting warm check-ins, and supporting adherence to time-based play requirements.
This is a highly interactive, floor-based role requiring strong communication skills and confidence in approaching guests.
Reporting to the Guest Support Managers and Safer Gambling Duty Managers, you will:
Engage with guests to encourage responsible play and break-taking behaviours
Monitor and support compliance with time play limits and interventions
Provide empathetic, non-judgemental support to guests displaying signs of gambling-related harm
Deliver consistent and professional on-floor interactions aligned to safer gambling procedures
Refer guests seeking exclusion or additional support to Guest Support Managers
Guide guests toward external support services, including gambling counselling.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance awareness and safer gambling outcomes

What We're Looking For:
Experience in guest relations, support services, social work, security or education




Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships, policies, and safer gambling strategies
Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and show innovative thinking
Effectively demonstrating the ability to make sound judgements and make informed decisions to mitigate risks
Ability to identify indications of gambling issues and assisting guests in making decisions regarding their ongoing gambling safety
