About the Role
As Sous Chef at Bar Ricci, you will work closely with our Head Chef to deliver consistently high-quality dishes while supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
You'll lead by example, maintain exceptional standards, and help create an efficient, positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen
Prepare and present high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail
Support the development and execution of seasonal menus and specials
Supervise, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control
Maintain quality, portion control, and presentation standards




Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service
Contribute to a positive, qualified, and team-focused kitchen culture
About You
Minimum3 years' experienceas a Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a premium restaurant
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and contemporary cooking techniques is highly regarded
Passion for quality ingredients, presentation, and consistency
Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food quality
Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
