About the role
As a Diagnostic Technician, you will be the go-to specialist for complex vehicle faults, working across a range of makes and models to deliver accurate, efficient diagnoses that keep the workshop moving.
Your day-to-day will include:
Performing advanced diagnostic assessments on a wide variety of vehicles, giving you constant exposure to new challenges and technologies
Using the latest diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults
Collaborating with the broader service team to share technical knowledge and support quality outcomes across the workshop
Documenting findings clearly and accurately so repairs are completed right the first time
Keeping up to date with manufacturer technical bulletins, meaning your skills stay sharp and current
About You
You are a qualified technician who takes real pride in solving problems that others find difficult, and you bring a methodical approach that the whole team can rely on.
More about you:
A completed trade qualification as an Automotive Technician is essential
Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, particularly with electrical and electronic systems
Confidence using scan tools and OEM diagnostic platforms to work through complex fault codes
A current NSW driver's licence
Strong communication skills, so findings are understood clearly by both the team and customers
