Duties Include
Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms etc.
Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming.
mopping and participating in the infection control program.
Maintains records of completion of cleaning schedule duties
Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities.
Waste Management
Key Attributes
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
Previous cleaning experience, especially scrubbing floors highly regarded.
Dedication and enthusiasm.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Safe use of chemicals
Knowledge of Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control
High level of respect for the elderly and experience in aged care cleaning will be a bonus.
