Our Housekeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining the park's reputation for cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
With an extensive accommodation offering of 100 self-contained cabins, 29 motel rooms, and 7 luxury safari tents, this role is essential in ensuring operational efficiency and consistently high presentation standards across the park.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experiencedAssistant Housekeeping Managerto support the leadership and daily operations of our Housekeeping and Amenities Departments.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager in supervising team members, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest readiness are maintained.
You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and support the Housekeeping and Amenities team
Conduct room inspections to ensure compliance with company standards
Support daily housekeeping operations,



including assignment planning and checklist completion
Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Coordinate closely with Reception and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role (hotel, resort, holiday park, or similar)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on workplace
Ability to problem solve and manage competing priorities
Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts as required
Current Driver's Licence
