As part of this evolution, ResourceCo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer & Analytics Lead to own and advance its data architecture, engineering and analytics function end-to-end.ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Data Engineer & Analytics Lead is a hands-on senior technical role combining deep data engineering expertise with sophisticated analytics delivery.
Reporting to the Head of ICT, this is the ideal opportunity for a well-rounded data expert who can architect robust infrastructure and translate it into meaningful business insight.
Key responsibilities include:
Design and implement scalable data architecture spanning data lakes, warehouses and Azure cloud environments.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to move and transform data from source systems into centralised platforms, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Develop and manage APIs to extract and synchronise data between Dynamics 365 Business Central and other business systems.
Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, built on DAX, Power Query and best-practice dimensional models.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Power BI using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, automating deployment, dataset refresh and versioning.




Establish and enforce data quality, security, governance and privacy compliance frameworks across all data systems.
Act as technical lead and subject matter expert, partnering with business analysts, ICT, DevOps and executive stakeholders to align data architecture with strategic requirements.
Provide training and enablement for self-service analytics, and maintain comprehensive documentation across architecture, pipelines, models and dashboards.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or related roles, with a strong track record delivering production-grade solutions.
Proven hands-on experience with on-premises and cloud-based data solutions, with MSSQL and Azure strongly preferred.
Advanced SQL skills including query optimisation, indexing and stored procedures.
Strong background in ETL/ELT pipeline design and development, and experience with data modelling and schema design.
Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade Power BI solutions, including DAX, Power Query and dimensional modelling.
Proficiency with Microsoft Dataverse and/or Dynamics 365 data integration.
Experience with CI/CD practices for analytics or data platforms.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
