The Role
· Leads and coordinates activities associated with the legal examinations for mines statutory positions (MSPs).
· Coordinates contracts associated with legal examinations for mines statutory positions, including employment of contractors.
· Presents project plans, strategy proposals and status reports to the Mines Statutory Position Governance Board.
· Provides strategic project management advice to the Department in support of the development and implementation of the legal examination for the mines statutory positions (MPS).
· Plans, establishes and coordinates the development of a project plan, resource plan and budget for the implementation of the legislation.




· Ensures strategies proposed and implemented are in compliance with the corporate and project governance framework of the Department and relevant programs and initiatives.
· In consultation with stakeholders, identifies, investigates, analyses and proposes strategies to resolve issues identified during the implementation planning process.
· Develop and implement plans, strategies and tools for project governance, compliance and risk management and evaluate the achievement of project objectives
