About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our friendly and supportive team at Highclere Family Medical Practice.
The practice has been caring for our patients for almost 32 years.
We pride ourselves on caring for our patients medical needs with respect.
The position is approximately 18 to 20 hours per week as well as scope for additional hours.
As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
Providing clinical nursing care to patients, including health assessments, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management
Assisting doctors with examinations and procedures
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical regulations
Coordinating patient bookings and managing patient flow
Promoting preventative health measures and educating patients on maintaining good health
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a holistic approach to patient care
Ensuring the practice setting is clean, safe, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
What we're looking for
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a current Australian nursing registration
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and the wider healthcare team




Organised and efficient with the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant practice software
Commitment to ongoing career development and a passion for primary healthcare
