Ongoing Part Time - 48 hours per fortnight Available from 21st October ****
An exciting and rewarding prospect is available for a suitably qualified candidate to join the team at Portland District Health.
You are responsible for successfully coordinating fundraising, organisational and brand awareness events as part of the strategic development function in the organisation and to secure resources to assist in the advancement of the organisation's work.
Events will include nominated and signature organisational events, staff fundraising events and the coordination of community fundraising and awareness activities.
You are responsible for the monitoring and responding to media and social media; grant funding sourcing and distribution; and internal and external communication including preparation of staff newsletter, website content, etc.
This is not a 9 to 5 role and will require the ability to have a high degree of flexibility in work times, with the shifts rotated over seven (7) days, including evening and weekends where required.
About You
A tertiary qualification in public relations, fundraising or event management and/or significant relevant experience in corporate or public sector environmentDemonstrated experience in a similar role working on a diverse range of events including but not limited to fundraising events, community events, and internal fundraising activities; across a range of locations, involving various stakeholders and with differing purposesProven track record in managing supporter, both external and internal, relationships and meeting agreed performance and financial targetsProven ability to work in a complex, politically sensitive and demanding corporate environment, with a high degree of responsibility and resilience, to meet urgent deadlines and changing prioritiesSuperior writing,



editing and proofreading skills for communications, media material, proposals and reports
