The Role
The People & Performance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
The position provides coordination and administration across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, HR systems, and learning and development activities.
It ensures consistency, accuracy and timeliness of HR processes while supporting the Business Partners to focus on employee relations and strategic workforce initiatives.
This position will also manage the learning a development platform by maintaining the platform, assigning training, monitoring training completion statuses and providing reporting to the People & Performance Manager and Management teams.
This role acts as a central coordination point for HR systems, reporting, compliance and employee lifecycle activities.
About You
Qualification or experience in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Demonstrated experience in HR coordination, administration or similar role
Strong knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Employment Hero)
High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple stakeholders
Understanding of legislative and compliance requirements in HR
Commitment to culturally safe practices, particularly in Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
Knowledge of protected and appropriate culturally centred practices for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander focused services, including employment of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people
Demonstrated understanding of social, physical, economical, and cultural strengths and challenges affecting Aboriginal communities and their ability to access adequate and quality services
Understanding of the purpose and expectations of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and demonstrated commitment to contributing to a child safe organisation in both practice and culture
Essential
Experience in reporting and HR analytics
Experience coordinating training or learning programs
Experience working in a medium-sized or community-based organisation
Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

Desirable
*A police check, Working with Children Check, Vaccination Certificate and current Driver Licence are required for all positions.
