AIRWAY is seeking motivated Freight Coordinators to join our Townsville Airport warehouse team, with multiple positions available.

About the RoleIn this role, you will play a key part in the safe and efficient handling of domestic freight movements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Loading and unloading domestic freight in line with standard operating procedures and tight airline schedules
Operating forklifts and tow motors safely and efficiently
Ensuring all handling complies with OH&S; and aviation safety standards
Completing warehouse documentation and updating internal systems
Supporting general warehouse operations, including housekeeping and freight organisation
Hours of WorkThis is a casual position averaging ***** hours per week.
Shift times will vary depending on domestic flight schedules and operational requirements, so flexibility is essential.
Skills & ExperiencePrevious warehouse or forklift experience (12+ months preferred)
Strong reliability and punctuality




Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Safety-focused with a proactive mindset
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational demands
Licences & RequirementsLF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
