The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiasticCasual Chefto join our Food & Beverage team, supporting bothRAAFA Merriwa EstateandCambrai Villagein Merriwa.
This is a flexible casual position ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is willing to work across both facilities as operational needs require.
You will play an significant role in delivering high-quality meals and dining experiences for our residents, members and guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and service.

About the Role
As a Casual Chef, you will:
Prepare and deliver quality meals in a commercial kitchen environment
Support food service operations across both Merriwa Estate and Cambrai Village
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality
Assist with stock control, ordering and stock rotation
Ensure kitchen operations comply with HACCP and regulatory requirements
Take a hands-on approach to food preparation and service delivery
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Support continuous improvement initiatives within kitchen operations
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Previous experience as a Chef in aged care, hospitality, catering or a similar environment
Flexibility and willingness to work across both Merriwa Estate and Cambrai Village
Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
Strong organisational and time management skills
A valid C Class Driver's Licence
Eligibility to work in Australia
A satisfactory National Police Clearance (issued within six months or willing to obtain)
Current influenza vaccinations (or willingness to meet organisation requirements)
