The Opportunity
Our Service Centre is looking forOperatorsin our Processing and Logistics team based inWingfield, SA.As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
We are excited to be offeringmultipleopportunitiesfor permanent operations team members for our Wingfieldplant.Whether you have steel industry experience or not, we are seeking individuals who are keen to further their skills in manufacturing.
You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of thisOperator role allowing for future career development opportunities.
Opportunities exist on dayshift or afternoon shift Working Monday to Friday, both roles are overtime eligibility.
Dayshift hours are from Monday – Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 5am-11am
Afternoon shift hours are fromMonday – Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 11am-5pm
The entry level remuneration starts at $*****/hr = $65,566 per annum, there is also addition shift loading of $348 per fortnight ($9,048 per annum).

What Will You Do?
As an Operator you will work in a continuousproductionenvironment.
Your role will be to operatemachinery or work in warehousing to create smarter solutions for our customers, whilemonitoring product quality andremaining committed toyour own safety and that of your team.Working within a collaborative team environment, you'll receive ongoing training and support.
You will:
successfully contribute to a safe working environment
operating machinery to manufacturesteel product
safely pack and strap our steel products
performing machinery maintenance and cleaning
be required to use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts

Recruitment Process

completing an online safety assessment (approx. 10 minutes)
attending anin person interview and site tour
