About the OpportunityWe're seeking both Mine Engineers and Senior Mine Engineers to support our underground gold operations.
You'll work closely with production and technical teams to develop and implement drill and blast plans, monitor daily progress, and contribute to safe, efficient mine planning.
Key responsibilities (dependent on level of experience):Prepare and implement underground drill & blast designsDevelop and manage stope notes, charge plans, and backfill schedulesProvide engineering support to production and operations teamsPerform daily and weekly planning for production activitiesMonitor and respond to operational variances and risksAssist with budgeting, remnant mining strategies, and process improvementsMentor junior engineers and lead engineering initiatives (Senior role)
What You'll Bring
Essential (all roles):Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalentUnderground hard rock (drill & blast)
experienceProficiency with Deswik and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and planning skillsUnderstanding of statutory and WHS obligations
Senior Engineer (additional expectations):5–7+ years' underground mining experienceDemonstrated leadership or mentoring capabilityRisk management and budget planning experienceAbility to contribute to broader mine planning strategy
