We're looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Front of House Team Member who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a supportive and growing team.
About the Role
As a Front of House Team Member, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping maintain the high standards that make Cartel Taqueria a favourite within the local community.
Your responsibilities will include:
Opening and closing the venue
Greeting and engaging with customers
Taking food and beverage orders
Serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements
Processing transactions through our POS system
Running food and drinks to tables
Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
Assisting with daily operational and cleaning tasks
Working closely with the team to ensure smooth service
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
Has a current RSA Certificate (essential)
Has previous hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
Communicates confidently and professionally




Is reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their role
Enjoys working in a busy, team-oriented environment
Leads by example and maintains high service standards
Takes initiative and looks for ways to help the team succeed
Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every shift
Is available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
