About the Role
Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Breakfast Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily breakfast operation in the Atrium Garden Restaurant before transitioning to open and operate Marine Lounge Bar during the lunch period.
This is a full-time position paid at HIGA Level 5, working five days per week from 6:00am to 2:00pm.
The successful candidate will be a confident, hands-on supervisor who thrives in a high-volume environment and can effectively lead a team of approximately 8–10 team members.
Barista experience is essential.
Previous buffet or hotel breakfast experience is preferred but not essential.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
Setting up and opening the Atrium Garden Restaurant for daily buffet breakfast service.
Leading the breakfast team and ensuring a smooth, efficient and welcoming guest experience.




Greeting, checking in and seating guests while responding to guest enquiries and requests.
Preparing high-quality barista coffee in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Monitoring buffet presentation, cleanliness, replenishment and service standards throughout breakfast.
Allocating duties, conducting team briefings and supervising approximately 8–10 team members.
Coaching and training team members while maintaining a positive and productive working environment.
Completing the breakfast close-down before setting up and opening Marine Lounge Bar for lunch service.
Providing hands-on food and beverage service in Marine Lounge Bar during the lunch period.
Completing opening procedures, cash handling, reporting and other supervisory duties.
Monitoring stock levels, placing orders and assisting with inventory management.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, responsible service of alcohol, workplace health and safety, and hotel procedures.
Managing guest feedback and resolving service issues professionally.
Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with payroll control, rostering, stock management and departmental administration as required.
The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory or senior team-member experience within a high-volume restaurant, café or hotel environment.
You will be organised, reliable and confident working autonomously, with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.

Skills & experience
To be short listed for these great roles, you will need to possess the following skills:
Energetic, motivated and efficient at multi-tasking while working independently.
Minimum 2 years F&B; experience.
Beverage and barista experience is highly desirable.
Able to think out of the box with problem solving skill.
Honest, punctual, reliable and physically fit.
Able to work both autonomously and within a team.
Well groomed and professionally presentable.
Be revenue focused and cost control attentive, always be seeking new ways to improve turnover and reduce cost to generate greater profit.
Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster when required.
Clear communicator – ability to speak, understand, read & write in English.
