We are seeking a passionate, experienced and student-focusedSchool Psychologistto join our dedicated learning diversity team 2-3 days a week(negotiable), 8:00am-4:00pm (school terms only).
Salary pro rata $34,****** - $52,******.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting the emotional, social and educational development of students while working collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, families and external agencies.
You will be able to:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' cognitive, learning, behavioural and social-emotional needs.
Develop evidence-based intervention strategies and provide recommendations to support student learning and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership to develop and implement Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs) and support students with additional or complex needs.
Provide specialist advice, consultation and professional support to school staff and families.
Maintain accurate, confidential case notes, reports and documentation in accordance with professional and legislative requirements.
Contribute to school policies, strategic planning and wellbeing initiatives that enhance educational outcomes.
Liaise with Catholic Education Allied Health professionals, external therapists and community agencies to coordinate holistic support for students.
Prepare professional reports and recommendations for families,



school leadership and relevant external agencies.
Maintain current professional knowledge through ongoing learning and participation in professional networks.
Participate actively in school life and contribute positively to the school's mission and values.
Do you have:
A recognised university qualification in Psychology.
Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience working with children and young people, particularly students with additional learning or wellbeing needs.
Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing evidence-based interventions.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
High levels of professionalism, confidentiality and ethical practice.
