Blowtox Hair is seeking a talentedHair Stylistto join our team on acasual basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, creative environment where you'll deliver exceptional hair services to our valued clients.
Initially starting with 15 hours per week, there is the opportunity to grow this position with additional hours and to a permanent position.
Based inLeopold, VIC ****, you'll be providing professional styling services and contributing to the outstanding reputation Blowtox Hair has built in the community.
Key responsibilities
Providing a full range of hair styling services, including cuts, colours, treatments and special occasion styling
Consulting with clients to understand their desired look and providing professional recommendations based on their hair type and face shape
Maintaining a clean, hygienic and professional salon environment in accordance with health and safety standards
Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and client loyalty
Keeping up to date with current hair trends, techniques and products
Assisting with salon operations as required, including stock management and appointment scheduling
Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming experience for all clients
What we're looking for
A recognised qualification in hairdressing or equivalent practical experience demonstrating competency in hair styling
Proven experience working as a Hair Stylist in a qualified salon environment
Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring and styling techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to client needs and deliver results
A professional approach to client consultations and service delivery
Reliability and flexibility to work on a casual basis as required
Knowledge of health and safety protocols in a salon setting
Passion for hair and beauty with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development
