We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Mill Operator to join our Wasleys Feedmill team in a hands-on production role.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate and operate the Pelleting Mill, Hammermill and grinding processes in accordance with site operational procedures.
Manage the outloading process to ensure correct feed orders are dispatched to the correct farms and customers.
Monitor production processes to ensure finished products meet Baiada quality standards.
Ensure feed is manufactured accurately and efficiently, implementing corrective actions as required.
Participate in mill hygiene activities as required.
Ensure plant and equipment are maintained in a safe working condition and report any issues.
Complete QA finished feed testing requirements, including pellet size checks,



in line with site requirements.
Ensure all Baiada safety, quality, work instructions, SOPs and environmental standards are adhered to.
Perform other reasonable duties as required, commensurate with the role.
Required Skills:
Sound knowledge of OH&S; and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
Current Drivers and Forklift licence.
Sound computing skills.
Able to work in Office and other operational programs.
Ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication skills.
Relevant tickets to perform tasks
Identify and report non-conformances
Enforce safety rules
