About the Role
We are looking for a Labourers and Sheet Metal Workers to join our Silos SA team based atSheaoak Log.
Working as part of the production crew, you'll be involved in cutting, drilling, punching and preparing sheet metal components.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, a steady pace, and being part of a supportive workshop team.
If you like working with your hands, working safely, and producing quality work — this role could be a outstanding fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
Read and follow drawings, work orders and production schedules
Mark out, cut, drill and punch sheet metal components
Position, align and assemble parts to specified tolerances
Perform mechanical cutting and forming of sheet metal
Use hand and power tools such as grinders, snips, shears, and presses
Label and organise fabricated components and move materials safely within the workshop
Assist tradespersons with fabrication, assembly and general workshop duties
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
Apply touch-up paint or surface finishes as required
Support general tasks in the paint and yard/dispatch areas when needed
Skills and Experience
Previous experience working in sheet metal, fabrication or workshop environments
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Able to follow instructions, drawings and work orders accurately
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
Forklift or crane experience (desirable, but not required — training can be provided)
