JOB TITLE:Primary Tutor
CENTRE LOCATION:20 Forrest Road, Armadale
What you will be doing:-Tutoring English and math to a group of 3 to 4 students per session
Teaching students using the Kip McGrath methodology
Tutoring students in a positive, caring manner to promote self esteem and self worth
-Use our state of the art software to plan and conduct lessons - saving you on prep time!




Use your strong rapport building skills to develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents.
Keeping an accurate record online of your students progress and goals on a weekly basis
Provide verbal and written feedback to parents.
Your requirements
Tertiary Qualification in Teaching or Education (or similar)
A current Working with Children Check
A friendly, professional and personable manner
A love for early literacy and a warm, encouraging teaching style
Confident using computers and online learning platforms
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Organised, reliable, and committed to student success

- 60 minute sessions - small groups - after school hours
Be paid above award rates – $70 per lesson, comprising a 60-minute teaching session plus 20 minutes of paid planning and administration time.

Hours of work
We teach students after school on weekdays and Saturday morning.
Monday - Thursday
Lesson 1- 3:45pm to 4:45pm
Lesson 2- 4:55pm to 5:55pm
Saturday
Lesson 1- 8:30am to 9:30am
Lesson 2- 9:40am to 10:40am
