As part of the national Amcal network, Ormeau Amcal combines the backing and reputation of a respected brand with the feel of a genuine local team – and we're looking for an experienced, reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join us full time.
About the Role
Full-time: 38 hours per week
Focus: shop floor service – helping customers with their needs, providing trusted, evidence-based health advice, and creating a genuinely welcoming environment for our regulars and newcomers alike
Merchandising and catalogue execution – maintaining well-presented, well-stocked shop floor displays and delivering catalogue promotions accurately and on time
What We're Looking For
Minimum 6–12 months of pharmacy experience
Current S2/S3 Certificate (Pharmacy Medicines & Pharmacist Only Medicines)
A genuine passion for health and customer care – you enjoy helping people, not just serving them
Reliable, flexible, and confident working across a full trading week
A proactive team player who takes ownership and pitches in




Strong attention to detail, particularly around stock, scripts and compliance
A valuable eye for presentation – comfortable maintaining shop floor standards and executing catalogue/promotional activity
Please Note
This position is for Pharmacy Assistants only – not suitable for Intern Pharmacists

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
