Full Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to support a major redevelopment project based in Fremantle. This role will act as the client-side representative across electrical, instrumentation and control design activities for a large-scale infrastructure project.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor design development and identify technical/design issuesReview technical documentation and respond to technical queriesLiaise with internal stakeholders, consultants and project teamsCoordinate and track design deliverables and documentationProvide technical support across electrical, instrumentation and control disciplinesSupport the Major Projects team in managing project design activities
About YouDegree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 10+ years' experience delivering mining and/or industrial projectsStrong experience with HV/LV electrical assets including design,



construction and maintenanceAbility to analyse existing and proposed HV/LV systems and provide recommendationsExperience writing technical specifications and reportsStrong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of relevant Australian standards and statutory requirements
Highly DesirableOwner's Engineer experienceChartered Engineer status (or eligibility)Experience within port or heavy industrial environmentsKnowledge of Western Power Technical Rules and embedded networksExperience with:Protection gradingSubstation earthing systemsPLC (Rockwell) and SCADA systemsHazardous Area installationsRenewable energy systemsCCTV and access/security systems
