About The Job
The Administrative Support Officer will work within the Professional Services team in the Knowledge Translation (KT) division to provide support for staff, students, and stakeholders.
The Administration Officer will perform a variety of business administration tasks to support the various Knowledge Translation projects including Orygen RTO.
Reporting to the Acting Deputy Chief Knowledge Translation, you will:
Provide high-quality administrative support, including document preparation, meeting coordination, inbox management, and maintaining administrative systems.
Support financial administration by processing invoices, assisting with reimbursements, responding to finance queries, and tracking accounts through internal systems.
Coordinate travel and event logistics, including bookings, venue sourcing, catering, technical support, and reconciliation of travel-related expenses.
Deliver responsive customer service by managing enquiries, supporting the Learning Management System (LMS),
processing resource orders, and assisting the Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Collaborate with a supportive team while contributing to an organised, efficient, and inclusive workplace, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Skills and experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide high-quality customer service across a range of stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
Advanced computer proficiency across Microsoft Office, SharePoint, databases and online platforms, with strong document formatting and proofreading skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative, professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail.
A positive, youth-friendly approach and commitment to supporting positive outcomes in youth mental health; experience in the health sector is desirable.
Benefits
Salary between $65,000 - $70,000 pro rata commensurate with skills and experience + 12% superannuation and $15,900 in NFP salary packaging + $2,600 meals and entertainment card.
